As a gymnast for 16 years, she had her fair share of injuries and chronic pain and was in and out of physical therapy until her coach recommended that she see a chiropractor for her back pain and headaches, which were occurring as frequently as 5-6 times a week. She was pleased to find that after just a month of care, the frequency was dramatically reduced. Her personal success with chiropractic and having a chiropractor that was so caring inspired her to help others find relief through chiropractic. John C. Bauman, DC. Having practiced chiropractic care all over the world including Indonesia, West Africa, the Middle East, and Central America, Doctor Bauman returned to his hometown to create a unique, diversified practice to serve the ever-growing community of Vancouver. A lifetime resident of Vancouver, he completed his Chiropractic education at Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon in 1994. Upon graduation, Dr. Bauman assisted a thirty-year veteran of Chiropractic in a busy Seattle clinic. Following his work in Seattle, Dr. Bauman traveled extensively while practicing Chiropractic in Indonesia, West Africa, the Middle East, and most recently, Central American before returning home to Vancouver. Over the past 12 years, while establishing his practice in Vancouver, Dr. Bauman’s focus has been on creating a clinic that serves our ever-growing community. His goals are to increase public awareness of the benefits of chiropractic care and to develop a unique, diversified practice.

Dr. Derrick Lensgraf, D.C. is a chiropractic physician at Peak Chiropractic in Portland, Oregon. He is a 4th generation chiropractor specializing in McKenzie Mechanical diagnosis and treatment for functional healthcare. Dr. Derrick and the previous generations of his great grandfather, grandfather, and father all graduated from Palmer college of chiropractic. Dr. Lensgraf’s choice to become a chiropractor himself came from watching his father and grandfather help many people through their chiropractic practice. This left an impression on him. During his high school years, after considering other careers, he decided to become a chiropractic physician. He seized the opportunity to improve the lives of patients and join his family’s chiropractic practice. In 1952 the Lensgraf family started practicing in Louisiana and today still have a large multi-doctor practice located there helping patients with chiropractic care. However, over the last 10 years they have expanded into the Portland, Oregon area and this is where Dr. Derrick Lensgraf began his path as a chiropractic physician. After high school, he attended OSU and went on to study at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Iowa and is now very happy to be back in Oregon making the area his home. Currently, he is focusing on continuing his education, learning techniques such as McKenzie, an internationally acclaimed method of assessment and treatment for spinal and extremity pain which is highly effective in treating patients. When he is not in the office or focusing on continuing education he enjoys tasting the diverse foods of Portland, reading, and learning digital art. With all the great views in Oregon, he also likes to spend time outside taking photos. Dr. Derrick Lensgraf is happy to be living and working in the Pacific Northwest. He is excited to meet the people of his community in the future and provide his chiropractic services. Improving the health of his patients is what he looks forward to every day he walks into the office.

Dr. Robert (Bobby) Segal grew up active and energetic amidst the natural beauty of Portland, Oregon. What he loves best about his hometown is the active lifestyle. With Mt. Hood nearby, a plethora of parks and rivers, and miles of breathtaking Oregon coastline, there was always something fun to do. Both of Dr. Bobby’s parents had careers in healthcare, so he was fascinated by it from a young age. While many doctors discovered chiropractic care later in life, Dr. Bobby received chiropractic adjustments growing up, thanks to his best friend’s dad, who was a chiropractor. He credits chiropractic care as the reason he was able to play competitive soccer injury free all the way through college and up through the semi-professional level. What patients appreciate most about Dr. Bobby is his dedication to his patients and his calling as a DC. That dedication is evident in his commitment to continually improving in all areas of his life, from his athletic career and patient care, to his commitment to his personal health and fitness, and creating a fulfilling personal life. Dr. Bobby defines wellness as being able to do what you enjoy, pain and injury free.
